...imagination...

"the tree
which moves
some to tears of joy
is in the eyes of others
only a green thing
that stands in the way.
some see
nature all ridicule and deformity...
and some
scarce see nature at all.
but
to the eyes
of the man of imagination,
nature is imagination itself."

What glorious roads we are beckoned to travel and majestic sights we envision on our path to enlightenment.

I love the shot of the milkweed leaves, my new favorite wildflower...the scent is just magical and I hear tell, that if you dead head they will bloom again up to 3 times..I will extend summer any way I can...have a wonderful weekend and thanks for the java!

STAY WARM...brrrrr...I slept in socks and sweats last night...crazy!!!

we have lots and lots of milkweed around...i agree the scent is a splendid addition to summer. we have many blooms on ours...but i will dead head them. how delightful to have even more blossoms. i have a shadow shot of the flower, perhaps i should have included that as well.

Love the tree shadows! And the second picture lets loose the imagination. I see things there that are not there.

You have the most unique blog. I love the photos and the prose. I want to add milkweed to my garden for monarch butterflies, but I need a sunny place which means I might have to sacrifice something else.. But I am new to gardening... Michelle

i travel this road everyday...it's the road that leads me out into the big corporate world, therefore, it's this same road, traveled backward that brings me to a place of comfort, peace, solitude, family and joy. everyone should have a road like that...
