...hope...

While there's life, there's hope. ~Cicero

Hope is a desire for something to happen,
while expecting or being confident that it will come true.
Hope also implies a certain amount of perseverance,
believing that something is possible even when there is some evidence to the contrary.
Hope may be directed toward something minor or towards something extremely significant. "False hope" is hoping for something that is extremely unlikely or unrealistic.
Hope quotes describe the possibility of certain chance
of an event or a happening to take place in your life.
Quotes may inspire the people
to hold their lives with full spirit
with a hope that their life would take a
positive turn and all the sadness
from their lives would be gone.
Hope is the only virtue that makes you sail through even in your worst period of life.
i had violets planted
in pots in these two spots
last year.
before i went outside
with my morning coffee
i had read some "political things"
which is very depressing if you want to think about it.
while i don't have "hope" in our political powers,
i have hope in the higher Power,
for He is the one
who planted the seeds
in both of these impossible places to grow.
and they are growing.
and this gives me hope.
everything is possible through Him.
welcome to coffee hour.

robin,
this post is just lovely. the notion of hope is so powerful. there is nothing more potent than a glimmer of hope to keep us moving forward, even something so simple as these tiny flowers. sometimes we must strain to see the glimmers, but they are there!

congrats on your 200th! you should be very proud because you have created something very beautiful here.

hooray for 200!!! congratulations on a beautiful body of work... of words and images that are always so inspiring and gorgeous... just like you :)

hope... it's what keeps us reaching more deeply for that certain something... it's what keeps us passionate about learning... it's what inspires us... comforts us... and gives us strength... there are symbols and examples everywhere and you have given us here such a precious one... i feel the same way every time i see life sprouting in the least expected places... the first little bloom in our wildfire-ravaged area will always bring a tear and a smile...

love this...

I'm not a religious person, in fact religions turn me off, but I have hopes and beliefs in a higher power and the power of the human spirit to survive and do good for every man...as every man is God and has the power.

I am a peaceful spirit and go to my medicine wheel in my yard for comfort and talk to the four winds...these winds do not ask for money or membership...just free will and peace on Earth...I am comforted and have hopes for the future in the church of the All.

Thanks for the inspiration and the coffee friend...and the 200 wonderful posts!!!
