...jack frost...

the shadows
here
are
subtle.
after uploading
the picture
from
my camera
i
see
jack frost.
he looks
mischievous
sitting on this branch of snow...
as if he is daring
the sun to melt
him.
but
that is not going to happen...
not at 16 degrees.
he is safe, if only for today.
do you see him?
shadows, shadows, shadows.
big, small, subtle, bold.
they are here again...
join in the fun.
see you there.
just BE.
robin.

'Tending to your joy'...I love that...may have to borrow it for my minds eye...it's a deep well of emotion you know!!! Ha!

Mr. Jack frost may get a little trimming today, he's a good looking chap, but a royal pain in the butte when you're trying to move shops...I'm sure you know what I mean!!!

We got about 10 inches, I still can't get it all off my drive...skating rink you know...maybe a thaw(of sorts)today...hope so, as the move trucks on...hey Tilda...how's the toes...

Have a great weekend lil' sista...keep tending your bliss...

Looking at the frozen precip I see two faces, their visages set apart by each nose. Kind of like a pair of faces on a Mount Rushmore style stone. I see tha, and like that the snow and sky are almost the same hue. Very nice!

How absolutely beautiful - you certainly have a talent for capturing the most wonderful images. It's so hot here in Brisbane today that I could sit in front of the screen and lick away at your snow shot.

you made it look like a mountain of snow, great shot!

During winter, its good to look at pictures during summer

I was lucky enough to see Jack Frost briefly before Hot Fudge came along and licked all the snow away.

It's such a pretty image! I'm wondering how you manage to take photos in such cold weather. My fingers would freeze. And operating a camera with mittens on sounds tricky.
