one still frame...
often people attempt
to live their lives backwards:
they try to have more things,
or more money,
in order to do more
of what they want
so that they will be happier.
the way it actually works
is the reverse.
You must first be
who you really are,
then, do
what you need to do,
in order to have what you want.

today is the day for visiting

I love the simplicity of the curtain shadow...
and I love the quote you found...one that too many people haven't read and don't realize...

I love the simpleness of a crocheted piece harboring a little shadow of delicate lace...and the words are spoken so true...

There's something kind of sad and wistful, that lace apron hanging in the shadow. Also something very delicate and tender about the shot. And the poem is lovely. Goes perfectly with the shot.
Simple makes elegance of your shadow.
BTW, am just passing my mum's regards to you all ladies in this meme. She still in the hosp now and hopefully release after lunch.
Happy Sunday!
