Daucus carota (common names include wild carrot, (UK)
 bird's nestbishop's lace, and Queen Anne's lace (North America))
 is a flowering plant in the family Apiaceae,
 native to temperate regions of Europe, southwest Asia
 and naturalised to North America and Australia.
i call it queen anne's lace.
it adds delicate beauty.
to my wild gardens.
next to my house.
just BE.

That is always a delicate flower, an exquisite and fine lace that enhances the landscape by offering a canopy of delicate shade to fall upon the land. Beautiful!

I love Queen Anne's lace (and that is what I call it too). The one in the foreground appears to be indigo, but I know it's the color casting effect and the shadow. Oh, so cool!
