...week twelve of 52 photos project...

{i went for a walk}


We learned to be patient observers like the owl. 
We learned cleverness from the crow,
 and courage from the jay,
 who will attack an owl ten times its size 
to drive it off its territory. 
But above all of them ranked the chickadee because of its indomitable spirit.

Incredible find and I love the quote you chose. I see little birds and crows chasing away the eagles here which always amazes me to witness.

You're so right about all it takes is keeping our eyes and mind open. That's what I love about hiking: just being, as you say.
