The Christmas holiday is important, even if so many it means giving things as gifts.

Instead of giving values, generosity and forgiveness. We hope for the best of the most important things you have listed, and more so hope for the discernment to see and appreciate far more than the material things of our age...

If I were small enough, I would nestle in the shadows between the seed layers of the pine cone.

IF I WERE A SHADOW

If I were a shadow,
I would seek the light;
There I would glow sleekly,
Black and shiny bright!

What beautiful words you've written! Affirmations that we need to generously bestow upon ourselves.

If no one picks up hosting SSS, I will still post my shadows as I have done for so many years. I do have an 'email subscribe' on my blog, so if you want automatic notification of my SSS posts, sign up for that. I don't post everyday, usually twice a week. If you visit me, I will surely visit you (but we have to leave comments so that we know we were by).

Enchanting, mellow, rustic tones in this image! A whispering softness! And love your words too!

I love the warmth of the photo.

And your choice of words to describe the gifts of the season is perfect.

May your holidays be peaceful.

You list such wonderful ingredients for the best Christmas pudding imaginable, one that we should generously share every day of the year.

Beautiful photo and words Robin! You'll be happy to hear that there is now a little team in place to host SSS. Yay! They've already set up a blog! So next Sunday I'll include the link to the new space and direct players over there. I'm very happy about this! And thank you so much for playing along each week as I've so very much enjoyed your lovely contributions! xo

I tried to post a comment to you yesterday, but my relic wasn't cooperating at all, but today it seems to be running faster, it must've had a cold too...but I am soooooo over the hassle of it! Time to think about the new year and what wonders it has in store for us...new beginnings in a strange world of chaos, which makes it ever so important to see the beauty in the little things!

Hope all is well with Tilda, been a troubling year for her...but a good bag of bridge mix is a sure fired cure all...SHOW ME THE HERSHEY BARS...my mantra for a peacefully contented day!!!

Take care lil' sis, it's 21 degrees right now...must be havin' a heat wave...LOL!!!

Light. That's what I need now as you know!
Is it true you're not going to move, never ever? How do you know that?
One day you might want to live near Santa in the Lapland...or not? :)
Have a great week ahead!
