...an awakened person...

living in awakened awareness
is a little like being in love,
when boundaries between self and loved one disappear.
awareness removes the boundaries between all of us
yet our sense of self is enhanced.
an awakened person is deeply tranquil,
but has a zestful appreciation for life's wonders.
~1,001 ways to live in the moment

a zestful appreciation.
for life's wonders.
this speaks to my being today.
it seems to echo around me.
is where you can appreciate shadows
from around the world.
may something speak to your being today.
just BE.

SHADOW SHOW

Shadows creeping through the land,
Shadows dark on every hand—
If they should begin to glow,
You had better run, you know!

that alarm clock is a work of art. I bet the bell is really loud too - the old ones are like that. happy SSS to you Robin.

The day-to-day implements and gadgets offer a sort of personality...well, we tend to personify them. Hence the shadows, and their addition of life. The rakes are great as they make a pair of 'hands', the salt and pepper shakers looking so much like chess pieces. Neat ordinary captures and shadows!

I hope to always have that zestful appreciation for lifes wonders too! The old farming implements here cast interesting shadows. Quite a collection of oldies but goodies captured here. Happy SSS.

These are wonderful. So much atmosphere, both from the worn and weathered objects and the soft shadows and light.

The simplicity of the simple life rings full in your shots Robin, perfect patina and homey warmth, surely welcomes one to sit a spell...just had two cups of coffee, I'm determined to get some comments made tonight, my mornings seem to be so full of winterizing on Sundays!

My pc wouldn't let me sign in this morning, so my sss is a bit late, better than never!

Hey Tilda, if you were closer I'd share this Hershey Bar with ya...ha!!!

Stay warm girls!

A post full of history...
Today most of the stuff last only a couple of years, sigh.
Have a good week ahead!
