...graceful lightness...

we have a baseball tournament
this weekend...
so here is a shadow and coffee hour
all rolled into one.
take a few moments
to experience
the sensation of
simply standing well.
stand barefoot with your feet
shoulder-width apart, stomach muscles engaged,
and the rest of your body relaxed.
spread your toes widely
to feel a sense of connection with the earth.
visualize roots growing downward from your feet.
at the same time,
imagine there's a fine thread
pulling you upward from the crown of your head.
enjoy these opposing but
complementary feelings:
deep stability
and
graceful lightness.
~1,001 ways to live in the moment
shadow watching at HEY HARRIET
enjoy your weekend.
just BE.

We think our memory is full-blown experiences. But like the title to your blog. Our memories are flashes of one single frames of moments, snippets of helpful or hurtful words.

Your blog is lovely, Roland

The coffee leaves a nice view: The beverage sits in the mug, and we drink as pr usual. However, the wildflower shadow adds a nice prize inside the cup. We want to admire the flower, so the drink is a treat in its own composition, but looks nice too!

I really love it when dissimilar images are juxtaposed. THis is a nice shot with a wonderful shadow. However I'd worry about a bug in my coffee.
