...march...

expect nothing...
that way
you
won't
ever
be
disappointed.
light + objects = shadows
we are playing over at
HEY HARRIET
our time of sun
and warm temps
has had a temporary set back
it is, after all, march.
there is a dusting of
snow on the ground
and the whirl of the wood stove,
which has only run at night-
beneath my feet.
one day at a time.
spring is drawing
nearer.
just BE.
robin.

Argh...matey...I'm ready to set sail for the warm breezes of the islands...care to stowaway...

Well, you know, it is what it is, such is life in the Midwest and you can pretty much plan on it...but tomorrow is another day and ol' man's winter will soon lose his grip and we'll be swattin' mosquitoes and flies and loving every minute of it!!!(sorta)

I got to get me a wood stove, just for days like this, enough to take off the chill...not much traffic out there on the 4-lane this AM...you don't fool us Ma Nature...we know that Spring persists!!!

YO HO!!!

Have a warm one lil' sis...draggin' the woolies back out Tilda...!

The jars leave slight shadows that complement their sepia glass. The sun feels warmer as its rays filter through the jar, the feeling of Spring a tantalizing look. Alas is snows in your neighborhood. The warmth beckons, our patience with Winter still holding up..

There is a mystique in this shot, perhaps enhanced by the sepia tone! Reflection and shadow seem as one! Beautiful and intriguing!

The birds don't lie...they have been chirpping all week!
Love your shadow - love the shades & textures. When we were little we loved playing with all of our grandmoother's mason jars - that lid held our imaginations captive on how such a wonderful thing was made & closed with wire :) happy momories!
