"Morning is when the wick is lit.
A flame ignited, the day delighted with heat and light,
we start the fight for something more than before"
~ Jeb Dickerson

Bright colours feature in this curved feature. And yet there is a softness with the dominance of enchanting bokeh. Lovely.
All seasons have their grandeur, but as you say, the sun is heading south in the autumn so the morning's shadows will indeed fade substantially. Yet a new day in any month is always an exhilarating thing - the possibilities are endless and life always a blessing...
I've learned to think like Ralph, reveling in each new morning, no matter the season.
what a glorious shadow you captured here! and I love reading your thoughts. I especially appreciate the line "breathing in the moments"!
I always love to see your latest take on the world!
Transparency blossoms in the daylight.
The colors and the soft shadows of this photo invite me to pause and give thanks--and so I do! Thank you!

Happy Sunday!
I love early mornings! Your words and photo are always wonderful. Love the new header shot too! Cheers!
I love this picture. I love all mornings - but especially autumn mornings :)
As Ralph said there is a blessing to each morning. love the softness of your shadows.
Another lovely blog. Robin, thank you for your special words and lovely pictures. They make my day.
Terrific photo ... touching words -
Lovely light and shadow effects here
Yes. Breathing in. Love the shot of old glory too , but most especially, stopping me dead in my tracks is your banner image.
Like you, I can easily find beauty in the three seasons you mentioned. It's winter that I struggle with. There's no denying it has beautiful moments but it is so lengthy here that I just dread its arrival.
