we had a wonderful little soaker rain when i got home from work tonite.
we sat on the porch and enjoyed the rain.
then we were greeted by sun again...and you guessed it...out come the camera

Me too...I was starting to go through withdrawals...I needed my 'one still frame' fix.
They said straightline winds were coming through ahead of the storm, so sick of the storms and the destruction and the worry, I drove up to my daughters' up the road a piece...but on the way up the road a had a bunny hop frantically up in the air in front of my truck, hit my bumper, fly up in the air and landed on my roof...I was just sick, needless to say...but the winds were really strong and blowing sand and my truck all over, so it was freaky, but I was only driving 45...
Hope your evening was uneventful...don't think my brain can handle many more storms, but more on the way...I might as well be back in Florida dealing with hurricanes!

i so often wish for more dynamic weather... the energy that a storm brings, and the joy of the sunshine afterward... there is something of life in the changes of the atmosphere that just takes you to the edge of your skin...
