the whole world,
as we experience it visually,
comes to us through
the mystic realm of color.
our entire being is nourished by it.
this mystic quality of color
should likewise find
expression in a work of art.

as pretty as.
the colors of summer are.
you can't deny.
the colors of the pending fall.
i am equally delighted today.
as a group of robins.
have blessed this morning.
with their song.
they are passers-by.
so i will savor their song.
today.
as long as i can.
i will not take for granted.
for one moment.
the gift of.
sight and sound.
welcome to coffee hour.
welcome to this Sunday morning.
just BE.

Oh! What a treat and such a visual feast! I bow to the Queen of macro shots. Those are all stunning-even though spiders creep me out, those are gorgeous and sumptuous shots!
Takes to that place where I can 'just be'.
I want to blow the dandelion seeds. Love the spider webs!
lots of gret shots in your post. Seems like it is fall already.
Love these shots Robin! It's nice getting back to my blog visiting habits again now that September is here. I knew yours would not disappoint. Much to my own surprise your series of spider webs were my favorite...so delicate and rich in color. You are too right: nothing quite compares to nature's last stand of color before the deep brown sleep of winter.
Cheers.
This, dear Robin, just HAS TO BE your best work yet. I can't think of just one word...so many come to mind. Your photos just blew me away with all their beauty!!! Marvelous and magical and beautiful and breathtaking...
..."the whole world,

the mystic realm of color." You said it all!!!

your photos are exquisite- such focus on the little things that could be missed!
You brought the child out in me with your first photo.
All are lovely.

The colors of nature are so beautiful.
I love the thistle, at least I think the purple flower is a thistle!
Have a wonderful weekend.
