Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if.."; And then do it. ~Duane Michals
...if you find yourself stuck, frozen where you stand...use your imagination...

imagination is the formation of a mental image of something that is not perceived as real and is not present to the senses.
imagination is, in general, the power or process of producing mental images and ideas.
the term is technically used in psychology for the process of reviving in the mind percepts of objects formerly given in sense perception.
it is the ability to represent objects or states of affairs which cannot exist, which do not exist or which do not exist here and now.
imagination is both condemned for its link with falsity and prized for its role in artistic creativity and human understanding. ~from
it is a wonderful gift.
it's what makes me
crawl across a frosted ground
to capture the shadow of
grass behind a leaf.
"wouldn't it be interesting if..."
head to HEY HARRIET for more SSS.
"wouldn't it be interesting if..."
how would
you finish that sentence.
just BE.

These are lovely shots, very artistic. I am a follower now, would love to see more!

I also loved the leaves, you caught the colors so well!

It is true, we often are in a rut and it is easier to feel that you are stuck. But imagine and use your God-given mind and use your imagination to envision the change you seek. Forget the status-quo and consider the solutions you alone will dream up. This dragonfly leaves an impressive shadow, the leaf is beautiful with or devoid of color.

Well done and well said!
Nothing could be truer. Imagine all the infinite possibilities out there if only more people would act on the "wouldn't it be interesting if...".
It is those "what ifs" that create and invent. It is the "what ifs" that solve the most difficult problems.
It is the "what ifs" that see beyond today.

...or creep through a flock of blackbirds on the highway...a spur of the moment happening that makes me smile when I come upon it...and happier to record it for friends from afar...

Your shots are fabulous my dear, I was out dumping ice out of my birdbaths this AM, but the sun was not yet over the horizon to catch it's rays and shadows in my yard, but I would've been on hands and knees to achieve it!!!

Thanks for the coffee...think I OD'd on it this mornin'...did you get snow, we had flurries for about 3 hours and 38 degrees, better'n the 13 inches they got in North Platte...EEEEEEEE...
