...purple seemed like a good color...

~storypeople

i found two storypeople stories.
that i liked today.
you never know who you may encounter.
this Christmas season.
seems like a good time to be extra kind.
we have been a land.
of much snow.
and little sun.
so i took advantage of this shot.
this week.
as always.
please take the time.
enjoy the moments.
just BE.

Loved BOTH stories! You never know...purple seems like it would be a good color for the Madonna.
Wait, wait, wait-is that a Christmas tree farm in the background or is that just a coincidence (can't be a coincidence)?!?
Lovely, snowy and white Christmassy shot!

I think that leaving the tree up forever is a pretty good idea too! Merry Christmas!

The color purple is a color of royalty - Jesus was a king and would deserve the color as it befits his stature. No matter that his beginnings were so humble...so many were unaware he was who he was because they didn't recognize him. Much like the homeless madonna and child in L.A., the face of Jesus was not apparent in the face of the homeless child. We believe due to our faith, not by externalities...Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Love both the stories. One year our tree stayed up until my Mother's birthday on Feb 7th!
and please send us some snow- we could use it!
Merry Christmas!

It should be summer in my peninsula world, but we've had lots of rain and chill winds. Right now, I am sitting with a jacket on and occasionally glancing out the window at misty rain. Another day when photography is limited. But sometimes, that is the challenge. My most extraordinary shots usually happen on days like this. (Think I just talked myself into getting out there soon).
Loved your story of the girl with purple hair. Indeed, colour is not a warning sign. It's just a shell protecting sacred beauty within.

Both stories are wonderful, and the first one reminds me of one particularly dark year when we left everything up until February. Oddly, a lot of people we know did the same thing that year. We all must have felt the need for the light.

Merry Christmas!
