be at peace
with yourself and your own soul
then heaven and earth
will be at peace with you.
~Saint Jerome
the evening shadows.
last night.
brought peace.
to mind.
as i sat and watched.
the sun go down.
breathe in.
the clean air of possibilities today.
breathe in.
the moments.
life.
is.
beautiful.
and.
so.
are.
you.
just BE.

What a perfectly beautiful perspective on that lower shot! Of course I want to blow away all the little spores. :)
Such beautiful, gentle shadow shots for the day, Robin. Have a lovely weekend and thanks for sharing the beauty -- an the wisdom!

Lovely shots - so delicate. Wonderful shadows and wonderful words!
The dandelion is far past its colorful prime. Yet, it has a dignified gray hue along with its texture that leaves that still gives us a loving artistic look as the shadows fall within and without this lovely week. Tasteful and elegant, it is a treat to view this as the sun recedes...
Rob,
So peace and calm (thinking how you're sitting there) and just staring the sunset. How I envy your moment. It is hard to think not seeing sunset, where I live now, while when I was in the Philippines, sunset was my daily routine, and hardly appreciate that moment.
Happy SSS, girl...

really peaceful and lovely pics! :)
Magical! And breathtaking! Now, tell me, did you pick that up and blow on that dandelion after you photographed it?
Beautiful sepia tones lend a magical hush to the play of light and shadow! Gorgeous photos!
Top shots.
Amazing photos and words, as always. I so enjoy your posts! Your photos are always awesome with different angles and compositions. You have a way of showing everyday items in a different light.
Happy Sunday!
Peace with you as well Robin ~ beatiful shots...LOVE that last one so very much. Tonight we were just sitting by a campfire and it entranced us....almost like your picture :) got to love that!!
Great photo and words!
Have a nice week!
That second shot is amazing.
"just be"....to that I say, you're so right. Of course your prose is always a delight and always very poignant. I so enjoy your style. And your photos?-------the 2nd one and how you captured the light; perfect.
Thanks for visiting with me today and taking time to leave a comment!!!
the second image is especially lovely
made me feel calmer just looking at it
I love the second image! An unusual take on this pesky weed that is so loved by the children!
I also find the second photo to be amazing. Fabulous light here.
Ralph and I wish you a great weekend as well!
Happy Sunday. We are going to visit his sister, who has a broken wrist. She lives alone and I don't know how she does it all. And she just returned from a business trip to La.
She makes me feel lazy!
Sorry I'm late but haven't had time/connect to blog.
Thanks for your visit and comment!
Once again a beautiful posting. Hope your week is good!
