...new truth...

be open to different viewpoints,
and change your mind as you
see new truth in a situation.
this is wisdom,
not fickleness.
1,001 ways to live in the moment
late night drive to lake michigan last night.
the michigan side to miss becky's wisconsin side.
gus macker tournament this weekend.
the girls lost two games today.
they have the toilet bowl games tomorrow.
then sarah and i are off
on monday for
college orientation.
busy, busy, busy.
it is june 18th already for crying out loud.
enjoy the moments,
enjoy the moments.
enjoy the moments.
as for shadows...
just BE.

The chair shadows almost appear as bars, a barrier. Happily, the shadows merely offer a different if only imaginative perspective...

Being as busy as you are now seems fast paced. Yet, being with your children as they grow and accomplish is full of moments that you all are together. Memories that always stand the test of time - family memories still!

That old chair looks as though its held a lot of bottoms in its day!

I ONCE HAD A SHADOW

I once had a shadow—or did she have me?
My shadow and I could never agree.
I would say something, she’d say the reverse;
Our arguments flared, my lips I would purse,
Refusing to speak to her anymore—
So my shadow got up and marched out the door!
I have not seen her from that day to this—
That’s one stubborn shadow I surely don’t miss!

Great shadows on the old chair. Sounds like you are far to busy to get much use of it. Enjoy the moments... so true, they go by way too fast!
Thanks for sharing!

I love this shot!

I do enjoy the moments - going through my stuff in a living room, sigh. Moving is hard work! :)
Have a good week ahead!

I'm with ya, where has the summer gone, in a busy flurry of trying to find the summer, especially for you guys up North...what will you do when you have an empty nest...not sitting still I'm sure, making hay while the sun shines(or not)...is my motto, today I'm planting my new scarecrow in the garden, but I'm afraid it'll chase people away, not so much the varmints...ha! It is good to be different...I'll post pics of 'it' tomorrow...be afraid!!!

Have a great day with Sarah Monday!
Off to the garden Tilda...how 'bout you???
