...12.5.10...

"we need to find God,
and He cannot be found in noise and restlessness.
God is the friend of silence.
see how nature -
trees, flowers, grass-
grows in silence;
see the stars, the moon and the sun,
how they move in silence...
we need silence to be able to touch souls"
~Mother Teresa

in silence.
i heard the wind.
rustle in the grass.
in silence.
i saw clouds move.
in silence.
i remember life.
of the summer past.
in silence.
the snow falls through the glistening sun.
in silence.
i see the barn.
in silence.
i hear what use to be.
in silence.
a tear gently falls.
for no one to hear.
welcome to coffee hour.
welcome to this Sunday morning.
just BE.
robin.

I never noticed how this time of the year, things do start to become more monochromatic int he great outdoors. And that a couple of your images here have spots of red amongst the monochromatic landscape. I especially love the bird tracks framing you cuppa coffee!

Love that dried up Queen Anne's Lace photo. Has an aire of sadness to it.

I have just completed the school year last Friday! The idea of silence is very appealing! Exquisite post!
