...i still see clearly...

the tree longs to tell her story.
of warm sun on her bark.
of happy birds perched on her branches.
patiently, to hear.
for the return.
as it whispers through her leaves.
enjoy the moments.
just BE.
robin.

Every ring in her trunk offers seasonal stories, from shade when needed in the summer to shadowy beauty on the undisturbed snow. Beauty we always appreciate despite the seasonal fluctuations that appear. A tree is always a lovely backdrop...

Waiting for a story to unfold is sometimes excruciatingly delightful--and it seems to take forever! Meanwhile, we can amuse ourselves with shadows.

Robin girl this is a truly beautiful tree whether in winter or summer but yes I can well imagine "she" needs to feel the warmth of Spring and summer soon! Juts like we do but it is so far away yet .. BIG sigh!
Gorgeous shadow shot girl, well done!

What a beautiful shadow shot!
Yes, we all are ready for spring, summer...
Normally this time of the year it's really cold here but yesterday it was raining and now it's sunny. Weird. But I like mild winters...
