...give it sweetness...

“What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.”
― John SteinbeckTravels with Charley: In Search of America

at minus three degrees.
i was attempting to get a frozen bubble.
they were not cooperating very well.
the sun.
trying very hard.
to add warmth to the day.
don't have the heart to tell it.
it is why it is so cold.
we are now at the plus three mark.
isn't the sun beautiful on the newly fallen snow.
take any chance to.
enjoy the moments.
just BE.

While the soft shadows you've captured on snow and ice are lovely beyond words, I can't help be feel grateful to be in snowless country!

Ah, you captured the glisten. The icicles strike me the most. I have some snow shadows today too.

Beautiful, but minus 3 ??? brrr...

It has been cold here, too, but not quite that cold.

The icicles are beautiful. I forgot I had taken photos of icicles this week. Maybe I will post them separately.

Have a nice weekend, Robin.

In that swing of six degrees (-3° to +3°), you have captured the essence of pure beauty in the ice and snow. And beautiful shadows too! I have tired of winter due to the cold. Yet, the lovely snow keeps me going until the chirping of the birds when Spring arrives...

The first two photos are a beautiful insight into the magic of ice and love the sparkle on the snow in the last photo.

don't you love the 'diamonds' glistening? however I like seeing the snow photographed, I have a tough time since I don't own sunglasses.

Too much snow, Robin? Sweden is absolutely rainy this winter. No snow now and dreary time. I rather have the snow.

Happy Sunday & blessed week ahead.
