...trying to find my center...

i spent a long time
trying to find my center until i looked closely one night
& found i had wheels & moved easily
in the slightest breeze, so
now i spend less time sitting
& more time sailing.
~storypeople

isn't it amazing.
what you find out.
about yourself.
when you take the time.
to be still.
and see.
just BE.

Wonderful shadow shot and wonderful words to match -- I, too, need to spend more time sailing! Hope you're enjoying a great weekend, Robin!!

The picket in the center seems to be holding up the weathered wood covered in snow. It doesn't seem possible that the individual piece of wood can be so strong by itself, yet it is...it took the time to be still and know its strength...

Beautiful textures and color. And I love the quote from Storypeople. Less time sitting and more time sailing ... that sounds like an excellent idea.

Hi Rob,

How's everybody? Still cold there too? It seems we have the same weather.

Wow! this is a great shot! Perfect shot, actually. I was thinking what is the object but staring at the snow give me the answer. Fence (picket). I didn't realized what Ralph mentioned *picket? In my thought is fence. LoL* what a vocabulary I have.

Njoy the rest of the w/end, Rob.

Blessings,

I agree wholeheartedly! It is amazing. Didn't Glendora, the good witch say something quite similar to Dorothy?
Love you images as always, today. Took me a few seconds to recognize the icicles on the banner image.

Almost holy, like a fence post church steeple.

Magical sense of stillness in this scene! The blue tones are exquisite! And love the idea that centring is really all about sailing!

Concretely speaking: I had to stay still because of me left knee and today it feels better.
Happy Sunday!

I like how Colleen compared the top of the fence post to a church steeple. Holiness is everywhere...if we have eyes to see...
