...as we journey towards it...

hope is like the sun,
 which, as we journey toward it,
casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

love, love, LOVE the shadow on this spider web!!!

I love the spider web best - followed by the (sadly) broken pot.

Love, love, love them too...nice catch, but boy does it look cold! We had a rain this morning, so I'll be mowing the grass at least one more time for this year.

Time to start the caulking and dragging it all away, it was fun while it lasted. The last of the gardening will be sad, waited so long for it and the drought made quick work of it...strange veggies this year...but there's always next!

I still can't bare to look at last years winter clothes, didn't I just put them away? Found your woolies yet Tilda!!!

See ya in the morning for java...

The spider weaves a beautiful web of symmetry and style , whose delicate lace abounds with equally elegant shadows. The flowers are diminutive in size, but mighty in color. The clay pot seems strong, but a might gale sent it into pieces. Strength that is plenty for most events cannot tempt nature without being taught a lesson...

Broken pots, spiderwebs and flowers--and exquisite offering of "little things" for this week's shadowy finds. Thank you, Robin.

BITS OF SHADOW

Bits of shadow and blasts of light,
Morning and evening, noon and night;

Days of darkness, gloomy and drear;
Sometimes bright ones, bringing good cheer;

Spring or winter, summer or fall,
Light or shadow—embrace them all!

They are all great shots, but I love the broken terra cotta planter. The edges themselves have small shadows with in the shadow shot. The curve is not symetrical, yet it continues along the sdge of the pot, not daring to creep over the top of it. Very cool photos all around.

Peace
