...to nurture your dream...

“be careful what you water your dreams with.

water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds

that choke the life from your dream.

water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success.

always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem

 into an opportunity for success.

always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream.”

-lao tzu

i'd like to sit.
with that thought for awhile.
light + objects = shadows.
just BE.

Not an easy chore in these troubling times, but the effort is worth the reward...one day at a time...!

Have a wonderful holiday lil' sister, hope you get some rays, it's off and on here in Iowa, but it always rains on Memorial day here, just in time to beat the petals off of the peonies, but this year they aren't even open yet, maybe I'll get to enjoy after all.

Hey Tilda, I know it's shameful, but I had the electric blanket on last night...GEESH!!!

Beautiful capture and I love the color and soft shadows, but it's your words that really spoke to me today and in our world today we need all the wisdom we can get! Thank you for that reminder and a beautiful post as always, Robin!

The magenta flower sits still in the dew. Quiet, we look at the natural beauty that doesn't shout out at you for attention - it speaks softly. Not loud, but introspective; So we pay attention...

Such a dreamy photo! And thank you for the quote from Lao Tzu. I'm going to watch what's in my watering can from now on!

I ALMOST LOST MY SHADOW

I almost lost my shadow,
I left it in the park;
I heard my mommy calling,
For it was getting dark;

She has no use for shadows,
She thinks they are quite grim,
And when she saw my shadow,
She thought it was a “him.”

I had to educate her
And tell her it was “she’
And now my faithful shadow
Is welcome as can be!

Sweet petunias! Ready to greet the day. I always love the quotes you put here. I hope you don't mind, but I've been collecting them to turn to for inspiration.
Very uplifting!

Glad to see those gorgeous buds you've got! We've had so much rain that the flowers on the trees were here & gone...but the bright side is that the grass is green and the ferns and hostas are the biggest they've been in a while....we're "on the lookout" for the positive!!
