...a drop in the ocean....

we ourselves feel that
what we are doing
is just a drop in the ocean.
but the ocean
would be less
because of that missing drop.

Shadow shapes offer whimsical details to any object. I can't say why, but the weathered doors with the shadowy artistry looks stunning, a great backdrop...

Mother Teresa was very wise, wasn't she?

Lovely words. I needed to read those words today. Charmaine

Yes, there is a purpose for us all, we just need to find the right path and understand the meaning of the words written on the wall...right now mine keep shouting IS IT SPRING YET...as it's spitting freezing rain. Had to scrape my windows before I could drive home, however the roads were OK...whew!

You know, back in 93' when we had those horrible floods in Iowa, my yard had 18 inches of water in it all summer, so now I'm paranoid when I can't see the grass, even in snowfall...wonder what that means...more Earthbound than water girl I guess!

Don't know about you guys, but our rivers are bank full already...scary!

See ya tomorrow for the java time, though I may have to have a cup right now...mmmmm!!!

Hey Tilda...stayin' outta trouble(whatever)!!!

Love the quote you chose today! And your little birdy looks very happy swinging from the door handle. He casts a large shadow...almost dinosaur shaped! Enjoy the rest of your weekend Robin :)

Another great quote! So true, too. I suppose our egos need to know that our efforts made a difference. Egos do tend to get in the way of things, don't they?

when i look at the muted earth-tones in your photo and read the quote you chose i feel 3 things...calm, peaceful & uplifted!

I love the grainy detail to the wood framework of the door. The subtle colors are also pleasing to the eye.

I like the shape of the doorhandle with the shadow of the string dropping down. The quote is a beautiful addition.
