...2.13.11...

i've been watching the sun hit these drifts...
i walked thru the snow for this picture.

coffee hour this time last year.
i was so inspired this week by a couple
of gals posts.
one about not looking back over what was lost.
but being content with what is now.
and one about time as an abstract concept.
that we are always trying to chase time, or stop time.
and about observation.
that we don't spend enough "time"
using all our senses in observation.
i just wanted to shout YES after reading their posts.
i have to make a conscious effort.
every day.
to just BE.
it would be so easy to do
if i could just enclose myself
in a bubble.
just BE.
with no bombardment from the outside
world the moment i step out into it.
just BE.
no negative.
no words that bring about a negative feeling.
just BE...

You never fail to make me smile little sister, you are an old soul on your continual journey to enlightenment and just knowing that the journey will be long and full of bumps, makes the learning ever so sweet. That's why we are here, again...to see the journey and follow our hearts to that next soul level, the one of ecstasy and harmony and one with the all...the whole!

Stay warm girls, the thaw is coming, thanks for the java!

Yes, I love that word too-just be whole! Sometimes easier said than done.
Hard to believe the difference in the scenery one year later. But, I'm sure other than looking different, it smells different, sounds different and feels different.
enjoy your moment and the so called passage of time! ; )

I love these photos. Especially the drift. Beautiful. I like the word whole. The sense of fullness and completion it brings to mind calms the soul.
Hugs to you and Tilda. :)

Love the words! Aglow...how wonderful, it brings such powerful images to mind. I may need to write that word somewhere in my studio. How about vibrant? I really do love your photos and your writing. It's so beautiful and peaceful here. Thanks for stopping by and leaving such wonderful comments. Your opinion means a lot because you've got such an amazing eye. And thank you for entering my OWOH giveaway and good luck!
