...a shadowy interior is heart-warming...

the stained glassed window
is a beautiful invention
of the gothic style.
on a sunny day,
the play of tinted light
in a shadowy interior is heart-warming
-the visual equivalent of heavenly music-
while the panes themselves
glow with saturated hues.
surrender to such visual harmony
whenever you have the opportunity.
light transforming glass
is an image of the miraculous spirit
transforming a  human life.
~1,001 ways to live in the moment

sun.
sun where are you.
here sun.
come out, come out where ever you are.
(it is going to be a long winter.)
if you are like me.
and you need some sun.
head to HEY HARRIET
where there is sun.
we know this
because there are shadows.
coffee. check.
okay.
i'm heading over.
join us.
may you be blessed with sun today.
just BE.

I definitely come here hoping to see some sunshine because we surely have none here in the northwest!! Love your gorgeous shadow shot as always! Have a wonderful weekend, Robin, with or without sun!

I really like this one. Great light and shadows together.

The stained glass allows the weak, soon to be winter sun to be amplified into a brilliant light, shadow and reflection blend. The mere hint of color adds a soothing effect to a cold day...

Yes light shining through, transforming a space, a heart in mysterious ways...it is sunny here, but bitterly cold.

stay warm Robin:)

a cool serene interior shot...great

The sun is illusive here, as well. One must be quick with the camera to capture a shadow.

Oh! New banner! Lovely! But, sent a shiver up me too!
How to stay warm when it's could outside...stay inside! I always, always love he way light looks after it passes through glass. And the shadow is the bonus!
