...a hundred pockets...

When one has much to put into them, a day has a hundred pockets.
~Friedrich Nietzsche
i had pockets.
pockets of sunshine.
this week.
that's all.
just pockets.
so i, indeed, took advantage and filled my pockets.
journey with us.
to the lands of sun.
where we will find shadows.
may you find much to put.
into your pocket.
today.
just BE.
robin.

I so missed visiting your wonderland this past week, what a treasury of photos taken, simply magical our winter wonderlands up North. I have been searching and searching for a winter bird to paint, would you mind if I used your lil' chickadee as model, he looks so blustery all puffed up!

The trees are fabulous with their Winters' frosting, makes me sorta glad I live in the frozen tundra...there is much to appreciate...like WOOL!!! Ha!

I promise I'll be back to take walks with you and coffee for sure tomorrow, I want to get the full benefit of your photography when I'm not rushing off to work...tis the season...we're making hay while the sun shines(sometime)!!!

See ya lil' sis...hey Tilda...time for a blog to role away the blues!!! We could use your ol'timey humor out here!

Another great quote and I love how you 'bounced' off of it. I shall remember to fill my pockets too...when the sun is back out!
And I am trying to figure out the garland. It is intriguing.

We "a" pocket of sun this week and I did try to make the most of it, but wind and rain and cold are back today! Terrific shadow shot as always, Robin! I love it! Have a wonderful weekend! Stay warm!

Lovely quote and a pretty shot. I'm not sure what it is. It looks like maybe some Christmas decoration...like part strung berries. Happy weekend. Here's hoping for more pockets of sun:)

I'm jealous of your pockets of sunshine. My shadow shots are coming from my archives lately. Once the sun returns, though, I'll be out there capturing shadows. My camera is ready!

Your photo is intriguing as I don't know what it is.

This is artistic - I see an animal, perhaps a horse with a plaid snout. The beads and yarn construction makes a unique and lovely shadow under the weak winter sun. But at least there is sun here, just enabling us to dream of a warm spring to come. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Both my hubby & I have had a time trying to figure out what this ShadowShot is of. Berries, a stick, plaid ribbon. Some sort of Christmas wall hanging?? Do tell! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Such a sweet photo! Pockets of sunshine sounds quite nice! And I LOVE that Nietzsche quote! I remember using a nice little Nietzsche quote on the website for the company I work for once years ago and boy oh boy did I get into big trouble! Not because the quote was at all offensive in any way, but my boss is very anti Nietzsche. Which I had no idea about until after the fact. I find Nietzsche a fascinating individual. I find my boss to be a silly one ;D

Merry Christmas to you and your family Robin!

Where I live, the pocket of sunshine and holiday shoppers filled the air with warm, balmy temps!!! I don't like snow, so where I live it was perfect.

Your photo is awesome.

I played shadow shot for the first time today...My LINK

Stop by if you can.
