...the same privilege...

eckhart tolle speaks of existence as
an endless cycle of "outgoing" and "return."
the universe in it's own expansion and contraction
demonstrates this movement,
and on our human timescale,
we, too,
when we return nightly,
in our sleep,
to undifferentiated being-
prefiguring our end.
the cycle is natural: rejoice in your preparation.
your outgoing into life
and your ultimate return
are two sides of the same privilege.
~1,001 ways to live in the moment
we had lightening last night...
and my dsl was blinking red this morning.
but after some tinkering...
i am up and running.
yeah.
i get to play in the shadows
after all today.
you can too.
light + objects = shadows
outgoing and return.
breathing in...and breathing out.
just BE.

Lovely shadow shot and a wonderful reminder to live in moment! I think many of us could use the reminder each and every day! Thank you, Robin! Wishing you a beautiful weekend!

Just the shadow, few clues as to its origen, a scene reduced to its basic elements. Nice.

I'm trying to figure this out. Maybe when I'm indoors. (I'm sitting in my car using Wi-Fi from a isitor's center.) Happy SSS to you.

To be able to reconnect with the world of blogging is great! THe shadow, I do not know the subject yet the shadow is defined by me as hills and valleys. We fight the fight and it seems unwinnable at times. But after we crest the hill, it will be smooth sailing as we glide downhill. Nice capture!

A lovely scalloped shadow, although I have no idea of what.

A mystical photo with almost sensual curves creating subtle shadows! With this idea in mind, I interpretted your beautiful writing as a sensual plea to accept the expansions and contractions of living just as the universe itself bows to this cycle!
Wonderful post!

How is it that we are so in sync...we are so connected to the universe in just the simplest of ways, it's mind boggling, yet easily had by the willingness to open our eye and heart to the all...it is a beautiful place out there, I'm glad to call it my playground...every minute...even when moving a mountain of junk...argh!!!

See ya for java...did Tilda get her sheets put away...bummer, we were lucky!!!

Be well lil' sister...

I also was wondering what the photo was and then I saw your explanation here. Ok, I would never have guessed that! It's lovely, as are the words. Glad all is well with your connection. I once had my modem fried due to lightening. Was a most upsetting experience! Have a great week Robin :)

I love your attention to detail and the remarkable ability you have to put such beautiful words to go along with the image.
