their silent wounds have speech

The flag always stands out, never really obscured from all who seek the colors. In memorial, the heros cannot speak to us directly, yet their spirit bides us to never forget, to remember freedom is not free, fighting just may be necessary...

This is a most beautiful Memorial Day post.

Coffee hour? Is there a special hour dedicated to coffee? I don't think I could restrict all of my coffee consumption within one hour. I drink it almost every hour! And I've obviously had too much today which would explain my silly ramblings here...

Touching, as always...it's raining here this Monday morning and I'm not rushing to do anything, just sitting and NOT THINKING ABOUT STRAWBERRIES...waiting for my feral kitten to come out of hiding and munch it's breakfast...

All is well in Iowa and great in the land of the free and the home of the brave...have a wonderful holiday lil' sister!
