...if i had known...

If I had known everything
I know about who you are
back when I didn’t know
a thing about you
I would’ve pulled you aside
sooner & said Thank You
for being one of the most
incredible people I will
ever know.
~storypeople

i am going with a candle light shadow.
as the snow has gently started to fall.
all of lower michigan is headed for snow cover today.
especially southern michigan.
i am located where your ring sits on your left hand.
we are suppose to get only 2"-4"
let the "i'm in the ditch" begin.
as people forget how to drive on snow.
and continue to drive like it's summer time out.
at least we've been blessed with no snow until today.
who would you say "thank you" to?
just BE.

I'd have to thank everyone I've ever known in my life-but, for now, I'll go with a Universal thank you to just everyone whether they are in my life or not!
Hope the snow isn't too bad...

I think you are right Paula...there would be a long list of thank yous...as everyone in that you come across in your life is a blessing or a lesson...and we grow from each one.

I like snow better than ice when driving. However, for photos, I love how they both change the landscape as long as I can remain inside!
I am grateful for each person who has walked along side me on this journey of life.

The scene is always peaceful as the snow silently falls and if we are able to see the wintry precip from our homes and away from the 'summer drivers'...I am thankful for all the kind people in my life, a blessing that I accept with grace...

I can't quite make it out, a flower? I feel like the fruit warmed in the sun on the header might roll off onto it.

Lovely soft atmosphere in your photo. Saying thank you is a gift we should never consider to stop giving.

Welcome back to SSS2.

I like the way the shadow captured the water reflection in your vase. Good eye for capturing that.

I used to live in Mt. Clemens and Saginaw and spent a few snowy Thanksgivings back in the day. I prefer Florida these days in my golden year except on holidays!

Never thought that flowers could fly but you proved it. Nice.
