Perhaps it's the muted green background, but I find this a calming and refreshing photo. Lovely!
The long weekend is one of memorials, family, sunshine (we hope :) and shadows. The purple flowers look like a flora of royalty, a magnificent hue that look splendid and says that winter is finally past!
