...11.7.10...

this is what happens when you don't put the basket away
quick enough...it's becomes fair game.

even in it's death...it still speaks to me.
a happy moment when you find
these tiny blossoms survived the snow.

it's your thoughts and your spirit
and your creativity and your flair
and your heart and your sparkle
and your passion and your loves
and your courage that make up
the incredible mix of who you are...

why oh why
do we let others tell us
what our mix should be?!
~terri st. cloud

it is a road.
you have walked down many times.
if there is an opening.
no matter if it's visible or not.
if there is an opening.
doubt.
insecurity.
anxiety.
will find their way in.
doubt. insecurity. anxiety.
are words.
you can control the words.
thoughts.
spirit.
creativity.
flair.
passions.
love.
courage.
"don't let others tell you what your mix should be"
you control the words.
positive words.
let the positive words describe you.
try them on.
see how they fit.
i am guessing you will stand taller.
your smile will be brighter.
you will breathe easier.
go ahead.
i dare you.
welcome to coffee hour.
welcome to this Sunday morning.
just BE.

I definitely came to the right place this morning, Robin! Just the words I needed to read, to hear, to absorb and apply! Thank you for a beautiful post -- as always. Have the lovely day that you have wished for us!

Beautiful quotes penned by you two! I always find wonderful moments here. A practitioner of learning to be still, there is always inspiration and invitation that can be found he with which to do so.

What a lovely quote! Not only in our own personalities...but also the mix of a store! We've had quite the journey...and now are quite comfortable being "us"
Thanks for your words - wonderful!
