we have a

little song bird,
that sings the most
beautiful
song.
it is a happy
song.
it can't help
but calm you
as you get caught up
in the melody.
i don't know
what kind of little
creature he is...
as he sings from the cover
of the tree leaves...
but i'd like to
think
it's
the
work
of God
coming to me
because He knows
i needed it.

I have come to your blog from Sweet Repose, a dear friend of mine. This writing is so precious and your pics are beautiful. I too, love to listen to the birds from my country home about 5:45 in the morning. No better way to wake up than to have the window open and the birds sing you awake. I look at it also as God is waking me up in His most gentle way.
Robin, you have done it yet once again.The last two shots are absolutely breathtaking to me and it seems you catch the very things that appeal so much to me and yet are of the simplest in nature.We also adore waking up to the singing of our feathered friends,the windows open and their melodious symphony soothing our awakening, easing us into a world that does not take the time enough to just listen anymore.
