Oh, so true!!! And, perhaps the same can be said for dogs. Funny how we humans loose the ability to be honest as we become adults.

ReplyDeleteToo many of us just assume a cat to be stand-offish and aloof - au contraire, the cat is one with her family and just knows when to maintain a presence. It is not just a reward from us to the cat - from the cat is is even more rewarding. And our feline friends know this very well - they return far more love to us than we ever credit them for...

ReplyDelete(And it was only yesterday I decided to buy an unusual cat figurine for my verandah). Our little Shadow is the most wonderful little friend, understanding my hubby's moods and giving me a welcome home from work that I love. I have had a few cats and each one has quite a distinct personality. And that's how it should be. Love the peek-a-boo eyes in your photo.

Such a lovely shot of your cat. They are true that is for sure. You can't make them do what they don't want to do. You are blessed when they sit on your lap. I still miss our cat.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds more like my dog. Our cat is not so loving and tends to be grumpy. We just leave him alone unless he asks for attention and then you better give it or you will get a bite!
