this is a box full of wishes & every one is different
& every one lasts for just long enough for you to decide
if it's really worth doing &
when you finally decide on your real wish
it will fill up your whole heart & soul & it will leak out of your eyes
sometimes when you least expect it &
you will start to glow just a little
& here & there,
you will see other people who glow a little, too,
because they have found their real wish.
that is how you know someone who has a real wish,
because it marks you forever with love.
and if.
you have a glow.
you are probably.
creating a shadow.
and that, my friend.
is a beautiful thing.
just BE.
robin.
Hello Robin girl !
ReplyDeleteYou are at this early in the day too! haha .. Your composition is beautiful.. the clay pot hidden in the straw grass seems to hold a secret of some kind .. maybe a mouse is underneath it having created this his home? .. the colours are soft yet the shadows are very defined, perfect!
Joy : )
PS ... yes, wishes do make you glow
A tipped over flowerpot says potential, like finding a treasure in tall grass.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shadow shot, wise and delightful words/thoughts and those make for a beautiful post for the day -- as always, Robin! Hope you have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so very beautiful- thoughtful words paired with lovely photos. Always a delight to visit.
ReplyDeleteThe tiniest light, perhaps like the smallest wish, makes for a shadow that must be uncovered to find that dream so it can be studied and investigated...and turn into your real wish. Just have to find the light and shadow first...
ReplyDeleteAh, the mystery of the overturned flower pot ~
ReplyDeleteA dream is a wish your heart makes, said Walt Disney. I think he is the one who said it anyway.
I love the poem, thanks for sharing it with us.
Now I'm going to see your shadowy post from last week ~ I wasn't a good visitor last week. Just can't keep up!
you are full of thoughts! I love the entanglement of the shadows.
ReplyDeleteAnother "Ah!" moment interlaced in your post. Love it!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely tones in your photo! Once again, a feeling of quiet in this scene! And adore the idea that if you have a glow you create a shadow!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. Without dreams and memories, what would be left.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Paula, aah!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post!
If you have a glow, you're probably creating a shadow...I LIKE THAT!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Robin!
