...find joy...

finding a leaf changing color
on August 16th...
is like finding a gray hair...
it's not wanted.
the mums are now out
at wal-mart.
one could go
kicking
and
screaming
at the thought
of summer coming to a close.
but...
instead of sadness this year...
i will embrace the changing seasons.
find joy in every day.
instead of looking at the weeds.
find the sunflower.
if nothing else...
find
joy
in
your
next
breath.
it can be just that simple.
welcome to coffee hour.
welcome to this Sunday morning.
just BE.
robin.

  1. NOOOOOOOOO...say it ain't so...ok, I'll have to admit it, this time of year is just the best...but a little scary too, I'm actually seeing small flights of Canada geese and the squirrels seem to be a bit chatty these days...is this the warning of the winter to come...

As the mornings arrive cool, I imagine I'm hearing the school bus drone coming down the street, too soon I'm sure for the kids, but it is coming, you can just feel it in the air.

Not having a stable income is what worries me the most, however we had a wonderful day yesterday at 'White', met a blogger from Springfield, Missouri, she saw the pink chest on the blog and did a road trip to Iowa to pick it up from Manley's Antiques...how cool is that, then they came to White and went on to Sisters'...I luv my blog...it has made my world rich indeed!

It's raining here today and tomorrow too from what I hear, so I'll have my cup of java in my ergonomic chair in front of the computer...don't want to rush this fall thing to quickly...love the mums...

    See ya sweety...and Ma too!
