"for what is life but
alternate times of light and shadow.
when we work out the shadow part of ourselves,
the times of shadow are not so dark."

aah, such a serene setting to enjoy your coffee and gorgeous shadows! I enjoyed my deck this morning, but my views are just other mobile homes, for the most part, but still I'm happy that it's shaded in the morning and in the evening.

The memory of a cold and harsh winter is easily forgotten when soaking in all this light and shadow!
ReplyDeleteYour homestead is beautiful! Shadows and sunlight combine so nicely with the trees, fences and occasional building. It has a country charm that we suburbanites miss...
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful light in each photo. It looks like a delightful tiny house in the second photo. And so love the mossy fence line in subtle light and long shadows in the first photo. Wonderful atmosphere in this series.
ReplyDeleteAnd welcome back to SSS2.
Serenity...your world is serenity incarnate...
ReplyDeleteThe first photo reminds me of a very special place, more sunlight than shadows.
