I love old things like this. I have a stash of glass from an old landfill in Albuquerque. Posted an image of some of it on my FB timeline yesterday. So lovely when its aged and with patina.
ReplyDeleteWhat would we do without the sun? It allows for shadowy art that is created by any item, prosaic or grand. Art that exists due to light - soft and wonderful!

ReplyDeleteWhenever I stroll through a flea marker or a antique mall I like, I try hard not to bring home every small piece like yours. Old books, bottles are the hardest for me to bypass.
