& when it has been too long grey,

& the sunlight fills her up
& spills in wild abandon
back into the world again.

winter is spent with way too much grey.
i believe that.
dancing.
laughing.
crying.
singing.
go a long way.
to replenishing the light.
in our souls.
just BE.

ReplyDeleteIt does not take much solar warmth and shadows to fill us with hope, and more importantly, joy to our winter weary gray. We then have the hope that the brighter and seasonal Spring days are not to far away. The sun offers us brilliance along with solace!

ReplyDeleteWinter is filled with monochromatic days. But would we enjoy the other seasons half so much if not for the building anticipation and longing. Our souls need a pause to regroup and properly enjoy the coming of blossoms that signal renewal.
