and reputation like a shadow.
the shadow is what we think of it;
the tree is the real thing"
~abraham lincoln
what a yummy day
to walk around the
backyard to find shadows.
the plants are lush.
the sun is
bright.
the shadows limitless.
it is a great day to be a shadow chaser!!!
it is a great day to
just BE.
robin.
Love your shadow shots for the day -- as always! And the wise words are always appreciated! Hope you have a wonderful, sunny weekend! Enjoy!

The artistry of shadows is so well seen in the Summer – the brilliant sun overhead this season allows both subject and shadow to show up beautifully!
ReplyDeleteIt’s not that we are unable to capture lovely shadows on a brilliant day in the Winter – but lacking the foliage, the shadows are nice but not as full as these.
Capturing shadows and contemplating in the brush or forest is what we have here, our stresses melt in such a beautiful place…
Lovely shadow shots - especially the first one with the weathered wood!
ReplyDeleteI agree Robin. a great day. and great shadows.
ReplyDeleteThe shadows are exquisite, Robin. You have the heart, soul--and eye--of an artist.
ReplyDeleteSHADOW DANCE
Shadows here and shadows there,
Shadows, shadows everywhere!
Shadows left and shadows right;
Shadows dancing through the night!
Shadows crouching on the wall;
Shadows spring and shadows fall
On the unsuspecting guest,
Who thought shadows offered rest!
