...it's the opposite...

although we have been made to believe
that if we let go
we will end up with nothing,
life itself reveals again and again
the opposite:
that letting go is the path to real freedom.
~sogyal rinpoche

no shadows around today.
today is colors of gray.
but a shadow is a shadow
even if it's borrowed from another day.
you will find sun and shadows at
we play every week.
what will you be letting go of today?
just BE.

  1. Borrowed or not, it's a comfortable shadow - I could sit happily at that table.

  6. Each breath expelled from a dreamers lips is absorbed into the universe, moving forward into the future, yet shared with every single living being on this beautiful blue orb...so the letting go is a shared experience, never to be lost in our souls and life essence.

Have a wonderfully shared experience this gloomy Autumn weekend, after all, we have Tilda's adventures to keep us smiling...LOL!!!

  7. A shadow is a shadow, from simple furniture to a complex shaped shrub. We need light to make a shadow, and the filtered light here is soft, as is the shadow. Finely captured as always!
