You are so right lil' sister, don't sweat the small stuff, a new day dawns even as Michigan now suffers with her own oil spill...what next, is this gonna be what it takes to rid the world of oil men...just spill it everywhere???

Such simple lines to make such dramatic impact. Very much enjoyed this. I've also been enjoying your website. Lovely world you live in.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadow shot and such wise words, Robin! Hope you get some sunshine before the weekend is over. It's been gray here every morning, but by noon it has burned off and we've had glorious blue skies -- supposed to do the same today! Wish I could send some your way!

a fascinating photo!
ReplyDeleteThe gray cannot darken the sunshine in our hearts. As time goes by, the wood may become weathered, but the grain of life, like the wood, is more pronounced. The beauty never gets old...
ReplyDeleteno worries here as well! grey skies are here...but that means that the temp is a bit cooler today :)
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of you shadow and your thoughts, as always!
Hope you have a super weekend as well!

(oh...we had delicious marinated chicken on the grill!)
It's very grey and very rainy and very windy and very chilled my way today! The only thing we are waiting on is hail! It's predicted! Fortunately I was able to get a few hours of sun last Sunday and hence my shadow shot for today!
ReplyDeleteLovely subtle shadows round this join of woods! A very interesting photo!
Great photo. Great advice!
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of this shot. Very calming somehow - or maybe it's the words of Isak Dinesen. They are true and profound - thank you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot, and the verse is so relevant to us all.
ReplyDeleteGrey and rain here too..
Love the other photos you have taken this week.
Love your shadow shot and the great quote. Oh how true is that!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I had a few grey days during the week and I'm so thankful to see sunshine for the weekend! I hope that there is sunshine for you soon also! Gorgoeus photo!
ReplyDeleteUnique Shadow Shot. Is it part of an aged lawn chair?? Do tell.
ReplyDeleteWe had thunder/lightening and rain here this morning. Scared my dogs so we all were in bed together.hehe. Then the sun came out around 8am and it was a glorious day! Have a good week.
