What a delightful shadow shot and the perfect words!! I may have a little trouble staying in the sunlight today as there isn't much, but there was lots of it yesterday and I did have fun! Always enjoy your posts, Robin! Have a wonderful weekend -- well, what's left of it there!
This leaf is delicate as it unfolds to capture the warmer Spring sun. In nature, perhaps even in out lives, there can never be shadows to struggle under without the beautiful sun giving us life. On balance, there is much more light than darkness. The beauty of the season allows us to think life affirming thoughts...
LUV the new header, are they apple blossoms...is cold here today, no snow, but brisk, sweatshirt-kinda day. Covered my 2 tomato plants last night just in case, but all was well. Haven't planted them all yet, just to be safe, but boy the garden is growing fast, my Turk's cap lilies are over a foot high already, strawberries are budding and I am in paradise!
Gonna try and get that solarium(window shack) built this summer so I can have that rabbit hole and the dreams of a day in the sun. Barb is truly an awesome person, you would love her and her rabbit hole. I wish you could've heard the wind singing through the panes, it was mesmerizing!!!
Good day for coffee on the porch...out of the wind!
Hey Tilda...I'm singin' 'BACK IN THE WOOLIES AGAIN'!!!!!
That is a wonderful shot and quote to go with it ! I love the light you have been using in your other pictures .. there is something about afternoon light .. late afternoon, that is so beautiful .. it mezmerizes me : ) .. wonderful pictures ! Joy PS .. spelling is a handicap for me ? LOL
I'm with Ben - why worry about something which may never happen? May we all walk in the sunshine - and keep a keen eye out for those shadows. Your image is simply beautiful.
