hubby and i do valentine's day...everyday
we don't single out this day
we don't do the chocolate, flowers or cards...
it's just not necessary.
however, the other night at a basketball game
he buys a ticket for a dollar.
one ticket, out of the big crowd that was there...
and he won.
yup, it's true...he loves me.
yes, just a few steps away from
my barefoot
is this snow covered urn.
but i could not resist touching my toes to this bare ground.
soon this chickadee will have competition...
i love these little birds...
but
soon the robins will return
and my heart will be smiling.
as i walked back from
throwing something in the garden spot
i noticed these little
delights
poking their heads up.
i don't remember the last time we had
a sunny day...
but them must.
they felt the promise of spring
and they are taking the leap of faith.
but just incase, i better cover them
for protection...
so i can see their yellow beauty in
april.
happy valentine's day.
welcome to coffee hour.
welcome to this Sunday morning.
just BE.
robin.
One out of four paperwhites in a dish in my house has decided to herald spring...our bare earth is being covered with snow again right this minute...but I know spring will be joining us outside soon enough...thanks for your lovely photos and your courageous bare foot...oh, it's always such a long wait up here in NH.
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful for the sun these next few days...however...just walking on my bare wood floors with me woolies on is almost more than I can bear...let alone on the ground...you cwazy girl!!!
ReplyDeleteevery image so so lovely... and there just seems to be something of spring coming in them... i've visited this post twice, and for the second time i've thought of how pretty it would be to paint the tiniest flower on your toe :)
