...simple elegance...

this week, a week of vacation from work...
we were working on finishing the RC house...
.renters move in tomorrow.
please keep happy thoughts for us that these people work out!!!!
we've checked...they have no "record"
i must admit that i was very blunt with the man today...
and then i apologized saying "this is not my nature at all...BUT
we will not be taken advantage of again!!!!" he understood.
poppies...poppies...poppies
new paint...new carpet tiles
bedroom looking thru living room to kitchen
getting home...working three days in the house...i'm feeling a tad blue-
the whole house ordeal...having the process of finding people again...
will they be kind to the house as if it were theirs...
then tonight
...after raining for the past three days...the sun came out...and so did the camera!!
and so did my sense of peace...He knows.
you may tire of looking at the flower pictures...but i gotta tell ya...
i'm gonna keep takin' em!!!

  1. When I moved to Florida, I quickly placed people in my home too...not a good thing and I knew it, but they needed a place and I needed to get outta town...when I came home and saw a Harley in the living room of my 'chateau' and 14 junk cars parked on the lot...I freaked...why would someone put up a wallpaper border on one wall and only halfway on the other...tenants...and they wonder why it's so expensive!

People just don't have respect for other people's property. We do however have a great tenant, a man and his mother, they've been there 8 years now, we got lucky!

    Coffee tomorrow, right!!!?

    Hi to Tilda...

  2. I come to your blog from Sweet Repose. Love your photos. ME TOO, ON THE FLOWER PHOTO TAKING, I am drawn to them each day. Thanks for sharing your eye for beauty... Good luck with renters. People never quite handle your soul as you would like, but there are good people out there and hopefully they will respect your home.
