i have a couple.
of new items.
for sitting on the porch with.
this is a wonderful rocker.
i brought it out during.
our 80 degree temps.
but put it back when rain.
was in the air.
i see many content moments.
ahead for me.
as i rock.
with my coffee.
and just breathe in the day.
for more shadows.

Rocking chairs are wonderful things - they bring out the best in us. :) I hope it has a pleasant "creak" to it.

We think of the rocker a a device for a mom to rock the baby gently to sleep. Yet, the grown-ups too need to be soothed by the gentle fore-and-aft rocking motion. On a warm day, the gentle motions are relaxing - but don't rock back too far!
